Rules and Regulations for SCI visits

Reservations can be made no later than the previous calendar day of scheduled trip. You may call three hours before scheduled trip for any open seats that may be available.

There is a 10-MINUTE GRACE PERIOD at our pick up location. If you miss the van you will not receive a refund of any kind!!!

Payments are due at the time of booking. If you are paying with a money order in person, payment must be received at least 3 days in advance in order to hold your reservation. Please make money orders out to Pickup Transportation, LLC. 

Cancellations must be done at least 72 hours in advance of scheduled trip by calling us at 267-281-4440 in order to receive a full refund. Please be aware that trips with less than 5 passengers are subject to cancellation. Cancellations of these trips will be done within at least 24 hours of departure time. Refunds or credits will be issued at the riders request.

Pickup Transportation LLC will not be held responsible for any visits terminated by the institution, or lock-downs that may cause visits not to occur. Refunds will not be issued for visit terminations or institution lock downs.

RULES/RIDER CONDUCT

· Photo id (state issued only) is required to board the van and is required to enter the institutions. Birth certificates/ss cards are required for children to visit the institution.

· You must be on the visitors list to enter the institution. Please confirm this information PRIOR to reserving your ride. Pickup Transportation, LLC is not responsible for travelers who are denied visitation due to visiting list issues.  

· Appropriate dress is required to enter the institution. Pickup Transportation, LLC is not responsible for travelers who are denied visitation due to improper dress. For more info regarding SCI dress code, please go to our FAQs

· Eating/drinking is permitted. Beverages must have secure lids

· Weapon Contraband- guns, knives, etc. are not permitted on the bus

· Drug Contraband- if ANY person is found to be in the possession of drugs or drug paraphernalia (pipes, marijuana, coke in any form, rolling papers, blunts, etc.) DOC security will be notified. If any drugs or drug paraphernalia are found on the van, EVERYONE will be denied entrance to the facility. Please be mindful that Pickup Transportation, LLC submit voluntarily to a thorough search at each facility. If we are turned back for the above reason, there will be no refunds issued of any kind. Please be mindful of your conduct. If you violate any portion of the contraband policy you will NOT be provided transportation back to Philadelphia.

· Cell phone use while on the bus should be limited. Keep conversations brief and speak in a low voice. Please keep ringers on vibrate/silence. Cell phones must be left in the van during the visit

· Riders must use headphones with all audio devices including phone video games

· Behavior should be conducted in a courteous and respectful manner, please do not use offensive language of any kind

· Please do not discuss politics during the trip

· Anyone violating these rules will be permanently banned from traveling with Pickup Transportation, LLC. 

· Inclement weather- Pickup Transportation, LLC will cancel all services due to inclement weather or if a State of Emergency is declared. We will make all efforts to notify you of trip cancellations. You will also receive credit to be used for your next scheduled trip.
